UWC day promoting a peaceful and sustainable future

United World Colleges (or UWC) is a holistic educational movement which seeks to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Spanning 5 continents and 15 international schools, UWC encourages young adults to flourish not only academically but also physically, emotionally and ethically.

Every year in September, a colourful palette of events take place all around the world to celebrate the International UWC Day and to promote the unique UWC philosophy.

To promote awareness of a peaceful and sustainable future the UWC Malta committee has decided to celebrate with a mindful event this year.

We would like to invite you to join us for a seaside yoga session at Ghajn Tuffieha Bay on the 14th September at 18:30hrs.

Practice yoga, awareness, meet like minded people and learn about the work of UWC.

The session will be lead by our guest teacher from the UK, Szilvia Gardian YOGA, PILATES, SOUND Wellness
Szilvia is qualified and experienced yoga and pilates instructor. Her class will be suitable for all levels, no previous yoga experience is needed.

YOGA & SOUND
Yoga & Sound is a combination of gentle mindful yoga practice and sound relaxation with the sound of Tibetan singing bowls - and this time also with the sound of the sea.
